We all love a classical mojito, it is fresh, it is tropical, refreshing and simply delicious. But sometimes you just want some extra flavours. Well, strawberries do the magic together with mind and lime. So if you want to deviate slightly from the classical recipe, Strawberry Mojito is a fantastic riff, to begin with. In this version, we used Ron Colon, a fantastic rum from El Salvador.
- 3 strawberries
- mint leaves
- 1oz lime juice
- 1oz simple syrup
- 1.5oz rum
- soda water to top up
Muddle strawberries, mint, lime wedges, and sugar (or alternatively you can use lime juice and simple syrup, as we propose in this recipe). Fill the glass up to 2/3 with crushed ice, pour rum. Stir well with the bar spoon. Fill up the glass with crushed ice and top up with soda water. Garnish with fresh mint and strawberry.
