Being the pioneer in Icelandic craft beer culture MicroBar is a must visit place for all the beer fans. With a great selection of local beers on tap, you can also find a perfect one for your taste from a wide variety of bottled craft beers. If you cannot make up your mind with so many great choices you can also go for the beer tasting tray for a special price.
Here you can try the best beers from the Gæðingur microbrewery located on the farm of Útvík in Skagafjörður in northern Iceland, owned and run by the same people as MicroBar itself. The farm was turned into the brewery after its' owner and his friend (now the head brewer) started learning how to brew beer.
All in all, if you lucky enough to visit Iceland and spend some time in Reykjavik, you share our love for great beers, Microbar is a must visit place, at least for a pint, or two, or three, or... Conveniently located right in the very heart of the city it is a safe stop from where you can easily crawl back to your hotel if you happen to have one too many. Or march towards new drinking adventures, luckily Reykjavik has quite a few spots to offer.
